  • Self-Promotion Strategies with Laura Huckabee-Jennings You love your business and you are following your passion.  How good are you making sure others know about it?  This session will help you develop entrepreneurial strategies to get the word out about your business and learn to leverage your personal brand to create a sustainable business.  The strategies we will discuss include:

    —-Speaking and Demonstrating

    Several of these units are based on the work of Michael Port as outlined in his Book Yourself Solid and participants are encouraged to acquire a copy to further their work.  The book is geared specifically to solopreneurs in service industries, but the strategies are valid for any business where the entrepreneur/owner is the primary marketing and sales person.

Good Commons was originally built in the 1840’s and operated as a general store. It has been lovingly renovated and restored and now features six bedrooms and a sleeping loft, six bathrooms, two living rooms, and a multi-purpose studio. The property features all of the modern amenities of one’s own home, while still creating a warm and inviting environment that honors the historical traditions that have characterized the house for more than 160 years.
