10 Things Every Entrepreneur Feels

- An entrepreneur works 18 hours a day to keep from getting a job.
- Rainbows only follow storms, you cannot have a rainbow without a storm first. Don’t run away from your truth, but towards it. Successfully managing pain is key.
- Redefine success in your life. Winston Churchill famously said, Success is going from failure to failure with out losing enthusiasm. We will all get our little funky 15 minutes of fame in life. What you want is 15 years, and a 150-year legacy. There is no dress rehearsal for life. Make sure you are enjoying the ride.
- If you don’t have the magic of compounded interest, invest your energy in the magic of compounded hustle.
- Never ever, ever, ever give up. First people will ignore you, then they will criticize you, and then you win.
- Redefine “capital” in your life. Many banks will only lend money when you can prove you don’t need it. Real capital comes from the Latin word “capitas,” or knowledge in the head. If you are rich in knowledge, in time you will be wealthy in your life.
- Practice passion. No one can outrun a person on fire with focus, passion and purpose to win.
- Eagles don’t fly in packs. You have never seen a flock of eagles. Get use to being alone in your lane, your view, and your work ethic. If success was easy, everyone would be doing it.
- Live your life intentionally. You have money and time to invest every day. If you don’t have much money, watch how you invest your time. If I had more time, I could make more money.
- Momentary bouts with doubt. If you are pushing the envelop, driving yourself beyond what you thought was possible, having 2 seconds of doubt through out the day is very common. The key is to never let clients or employees know. Nobody wants to go in for surgery and have the surgeon tell you “it’s my first time”.
